Feeding program
Hot lunch is served to all children during school days. This is because many children come to school having missed breakfast and or slept on an empty stomach the night before. This has the effect that children are not able to cope with demanding schoolwork. Besides other social factors school, drop-out is also linked to hunger in the families.
- Free school lunch has helped sustain high enrolment numbers since its inception.
